As part of its “Upgrade Your Ride” spring promotion, Harley-Davidson is introducing the Seat and Windshield Demo Program that allows riders to visit participating dealers and sample these components on their own motorcycle.

Harley says customers can use the demo program “to take the guesswork out of creating a perfect-fitting ride.” They can try several seats and see how each affects the style and ergonomics of their motorcycle, or demo windshields at different heights to gauge the effect of each on comfort and visibility, all with no charge or obligation.

The seats and windshields used in the demo program are marked with “demo” labels. The program will begin in early May, and about 80 percent of Harley’s dealer body is participating, the company reports.

Interested riders can call (800) 588-2743 to find a participating dealer. Dealers will have a minimum of four and as many as 26 different popular accessory seat styles available for demo on a variety of models, including the Sundowner, Tallboy, Reach, Reduced Reach, Super Reduced Reach, Signature Series, Hammock and Road Zeppelin seats.
